MSF: Who are we?
MSF is a global humanitarian organization with over 63,000 members, offering emergency medical aid during crises and advocating for those without healthcare. Our impartiality and expertise are vital for saving lives. We prioritize diversity and inclusion among our employees, welcoming people of all backgrounds and abilities to work together in a supportive culture (https://www.msf.org/)
The role of the Field Epidemiologist in MSF
As a field epidemiologist with MSF, you will play a pivotal role in our humanitarian aid work. Your responsibilities will encompass gathering critical epidemiological data during disease outbreaks like meningitis, measles, or cholera, as well as conducting surveys and research to enhance evidence-based
decision-making.
You will play a crucial role in the monitoring and evaluation of regular projects by conducting comprehensive data analysis, identifying trends and patterns in health outcomes, and assessing the effectiveness of interventions to improve public health outcomes.
In this role, you will lead our teams in providing essential case management, vaccinations, and sanitation interventions to those
in need, amplifying the impact of MSF's humanitarian efforts around the world!
