EAN activities before and during ESCAIDE 2023!
Let's celebrate 15 years of EUPHEM online and in Barcelona
We are happy to officially announce the activities celebrating 15 years of EUPHEM! First we will have a Career compass event entirely dedicated to EUPHEM! Join us online 17 October 2023 staring at 16:00-17:00 CET!
We are also preparing the “EUPHEM Postcard Booklet”! With the help of EUPHEM alumna Zsofia Igloi, the EAN Board would like to collect stories and experiences from EUPHEM alumni that will be used to compose a “EUPHEM Postcard Booklet” (in PowerPoint or PDF format) that will be shared at ESCAIDE in the EAN Booth (projected on a laptop) and in the online EAN Booth. In addition, the “postcards” will be uploaded on the closed pages of the EAN website. This Postcard Book will form a nice trip down memory lane and give an overview of the variety of people that have been through the fellowship. All EUPHEM Alumni are invited to share their information in a Google Form.
EAN Mini Module: Molecular Epidemiology, 20-21 November 2023, Barcelona
We are happy to officially announce the next EAN mini-module on Molecular Epidemiology, right before this year’s ESCAIDE. The mini-module is designed for public health professionals with little knowledge of sequencing techniques and who would like to better understand how these data are produced and how to interpret them.
EAN is participating once more at ESCAIDE and is organising a number of events in collaboration with ECDC and EPIET and EUPHEM fellows!
We hope to see you there!
