We are happy to officially announce the next EAN mini-module on Geographic Information Systems.
This 1 day and a half module will take place in Rome from Saturday 9 April (9:00) to Sunday 10 April 2022 (12:00). This mini-module is designed for beginners in GIS and aims at providing participants with global understanding of spatial analysis and basic working skills. It will cover the following topics:
This mini-module is open to all EAN members as well as to external participants (EAN friends and colleagues), however active members (those up-to-date with their membership fees) will be given priority over inactive members.
Current fellows can also apply, but note that some of the content might be redundant with the fellowship modules. A predefined number of places is reserved for current fellows (with priority given to C2020 fellows who have pre-registered) and the rest is reserved for alumni and externals.
Except for these rules, places will be allocated on a “first come first served” basis. In case alumni and current fellows do not fill up all spaces free slots, will be offered to external people (i.e. colleagues/friends of EAN members).
